Mary Rachel started playing Fiddle when she was 11 years old. Even though she is only 15 years of age, she has become a very known fiddle player in her short time.
Mary became part of The Hazel Holler Girls in 2011. Besides staying busy with The Hazel Holler Girls, she has also appeared on stage with Daily and Vincent as their special guest, the Grand Ole Opry as a guest with Mike Snider and has been on RFD TV with the Cumberland Highlanders.
Besides playing fiddle, Mary Rachel also plays Mandolin, Guitar, and Bass.
She credits where she is today to her parents, Jimmy and Phyllis Nalley, her church, Three Springs Baptist Church, and her coach and mentor Steve Day.
Some of her hero's include, Dolly Parton, Michael Cleveland, Steve Day, and Kenny Baker, but she says she loves all the old time fiddlers.
When Mary Rachel isn’t out playing music, she makes her home in Bowling Green, Kentucky where she is a sophomore in High School and plays basketball in her extra time.
